Bring the sun into your home.
ESWA utilises the natural effect of radiant heat in much the same way as the sun's rays heat the earth, by heating cold surfaces which warm the surrounding atmosphere. Floors, walls, ceilings and objects become warm through this radiated heat, unlike conventional heating methods which only heat the air.
ESWA Underfloor Heating
The ESWA infloor heating system is designed to be an integral part of the floor, and the reasoning for this is very simple. A heating source with a large surface area distributes the heat more evenly, and with a greater defree of comfort than traditional systems. Utilising the thermal mass of a concrete floor allows energy to be stored at the cheaper 'night rate' tariff, where available, with a gentle release of this energy in the form of heat throughout the day.

Self Regulating
Due to the method of installation and control with infloor sensors, the ESWA heated floor is 'self regulating'. This means that, if the floor temperature is typically a low 24°C, only the energy needed to maintain a room temperature of approximately 20°C is released during the colder part of the day (morning).
As the room becomes warmer, because of sunlight through the windows, the room temperature will reach the same heat level as the floor. At this point the ESWA infloor heating system stops releasing heat until later in the day, when the sun has moved on. This natural effect saves running costs as the next charge on the night rate will require less energy to 'top up' the slab.
